Guidelines for Artists & Businesses

Guidelines for non-binary artists:

This event is for you if you:

  • Your work celebrates and empowers being non-binary.

  • You want to grow your portfolio and gather experience.

  • You want to be part of empowering others.

  • You love to perform at our Open Mic.

  • You have a DJ set which you would like to showcase.

 

Guidelines for businesses:

This event is for you if you:

  • You would love to book a stand at our market stall area.

  • You want to start a conversation with potential customers.

  • You want to get the word out there and grow your outreach.

  • You love to do consultations.

  • You love to present/ showcase some of your products/work.

  • Your target audience/customers are on the non-binary spectrum.

  • Your work celebrates and empowers being non-binary.

We do not charge for the market stand, so any money you make is yours to keep! 

FAQ

Are your venue and event accessible?

  • Yes, absolutely. If you have special requirements, do get in touch via CP22Lilli.Lehmann@mountview.org.uk and we will do our utmost to cater for your needs.

  • Theatre Deli is wheelchair accessible.

 

I get easily overwhelmed and am afraid, that your event is too much for me.

  • We have a calm room available. So if you need time to decompress, make use of the space.

 

I will need extra help to plan my journey for the event, can you help?

 

How much does it cost?

  • Our event is following the "Pay what you can" scheme. We much appreciate any sum to help our amazing artists and venue going.

 

Help! I am late.

  • Do not worry, we do offer late admission into the venue. Do notice, the panel discussion and open mic will start on time.

 

How do I find you?

  • Theatre Deli hosts our event and you can find Theatre Deli at 107 Leadenhall Street, EC3A 4AF.

  • The closest stations are Fenchurch Station, Aldgate Station, Liverpool Street Station or Bank.

 

I am unsure about my gender identity and think I might be non-binary, can I still come?

  • Sure. Especially if you think that you might be on the non-binary spectrum or a non-binary ally, you are welcome to come.

 

Can I sign up to perform at your Open Mic night?

  • Sure! As long as spots are available, you are more than welcome to.

  • We will have a sign-up sheet on the day.

 

Who might you refuse entry to and why?

  • This event aims at offering non-binary people a space to connect. To protect them and their allies, we reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone who could be a threat or cause harm to any attendee. It is not for spectators.
