This model shows a scene of a story about a young girl, which suffered from the racism and fear of her fellow citizen her entire life. In the end she turns into the monster everyone predicted she would become since her childhood. Two fellow students and I built this scene, where the main character is tracking down one of her last victims. It is a 1:50 scale.

Inspiration for this annual paper installation was no one less then the famous children's book author Roald Dahl. Each student of my course presented a design for the space and after one was decided, we teamed up. As soon as the main tree was up, I changed from creating foliage to tailoring costumes for the figures. Besides this task, I planned and designed a projection, which emphasized the magical world of our installation even more.

In 2017 the Stafford Shakespeare Festival presented "The Tempest" and this production was very special for me, because I had the possibilty to work backstage. Most of the time I made props. The images show the front of the stage (Production Design: Frances Collier) after we did the set dressing.

The UK election 2017 was covered in a studio of our university and one evening the executive producer approached me with their problem of not having a suitable stage yet. Especially when you talk about policitical parties you do not want any party colour standing out. So we decided on a grey background, with visible Television and only a subtle hint of colours around the table.

While researching the history of Blackpool's sideshows I developed a concept design for a future museum of Blackpool inside the Winter Gardens. Through my design the visitors will phenomenologically explore the following topics: Colonel Barker, the Starving Brides, the Ellis family and the Freak Shows. The used technology enhances the immersive experience and re-creates the atmosphere of 1950's Blackpool. The model is in the scale of 1:50.

This model shows my set and costume design for the play "The Leader". It would be set in a full white curve photography studio. To emphasize the absurdity and purposelessness of the play, I decided on creating an aquarium as a set. The characters would be dressed in a contemporary style, but the patterns of the fabric hint on a very certain sweet water fish. Let alone that replications of ancient buildings can be often found in aquariums, this round structure and the columns also implicite decay

To explore the possibilities of translating a 2D image in a 3D model, I made this model and used the scale of 1:50. This miniature room is the replication of a cosy lounge in a hotel in Bavaria.

Inspired by Roald Dahl's style, I created this 1:50 scaled model to tell a story dedicated to his memory. The set shows two returning parents, which find their home not quite how they left it. Giant flowers and mushrooms destroyed the yard, paper airplanes force a pilote to an emergency landing, monsters are crawling around and the stuffed rabbit grew to human seize. Did their son press the button, no one was allowed to touch in their absence?

Best Before End is a satirical news Programm which was produced as a collaborative project between Media, Journalist students and the School of Visual Communication of my university. For this project, I functioned as a Scriptwriter and Stage Designer. For the show we wanted a professional, clear look, which could actually appear on television.

For an exhibition at Centrala in Digbeth, we explored a burned down house, which intrigued us. What happened here? Who owned this place? We combined all these questions in our exhibition.

In some cities there are places, where you can pick a porcelain dish and paint them. This collection is one of the sets I made. My inspiration came from my trip to China and I wanted to bring some of that exotic feeling home by combining a colourful red with the pattern of a tiger. In asian culture the tiger symbolizes the earth and they are seen as protectors of good people.

This dress was made for a bachelor- graduation ceremony. I hand-stitched some gold embroidery and spangles to the corset and, as you can see, I made a wide swinging skirt to emphasize the delicacy of the fabric.

This was a collaborative project. The focus here is on the design of the white dress (Nina Manikute). For this project I did the make-up and the photographs. I tried to display the fragility and brutality which comes along in Nina's design.

I tried to display the fragility and brutality which comes along in Nina's design. She found inspiration in japanese Manga-Storys. It was important to her to not follow a stereotypical route, which is obvious when you think abot a "white dress" in general. She wanted to show that not every marriage in a white dress ends up as a fairytale.

After a visit of a gallery displaying work from Sarah Moon, I felt inspired to tell a story just in photographs. The original project was shot with a polaroid camera, but the quality is too low to scan those. This is why I am using the photos taken with my Nikon. As a story I decided on the "Runaway Bride".
