Right from the beginning and until the end there is only one word, which can describe the performance of “Holy Day” : intense. It started with thunder and lighting and the audience had not a single second to digest the action. We were dragged into the Outback of Australia, where murderer and rapist rule and everyone just tries to survive the hell on earth. “A word which isn't spoken, can faint”, and after this tough history lesson, we wish we wouldn't know about the brutal past. But we do know and especially I left the theatre and was glad, that someone else fought the fight and that we live now here in peace and that is worth to fight for this peace to remain. The costumes and the set worked amazingly well, but it have been the soundtracks and the lighting, which really helped transporting us to Australia.
